Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026voye uses first-party cookies to sign you in and keep you signed in, and one to remember whether you left the sidebar open, plus browser storage for features you use, such as your knowledge base. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (such as local storage, IndexedDB and the cache) lets a website keep data on your device. Under the ePrivacy rules, storing or reading information on your device requires your consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested.
3. Browser storage we use
- Knowledge base (IndexedDB, functional): the files, notes and passages you add to your knowledge base, kept on your device so that they never need to be stored on our servers. Kept until you delete them or clear your browser data.
- Model files (browser cache, functional): the on-device models used for the knowledge base and for anonymisation, downloaded once so that they need not be downloaded again. Kept until you clear your browser data; the desktop app keeps its own in its data folder on your computer until you remove the app.
This storage is used only to provide features you have chosen to use, and none of it is used to track you.
4. No analytics or advertising cookies
We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or other tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to place such cookies through the Service. If we ever want to use them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
5. How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and browser storage, and block them, in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in; without the sidebar cookie, the sidebar starts open each time. If you clear your browser storage, your knowledge base will be deleted from that device; export it first if you want to keep it.
