Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Your documents stay yours. AI suggestions can be wrong, so check them before you use them. Anonymisation is a best-effort aid, not a guarantee. Use voye lawfully and do not misuse it. Paid plans say what they cost before you pay, a pass ends on its own, and a monthly plan renews until you cancel. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("voye", "we", "us" or "our"), the operator of the voye website, web application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and AI and data notice explain how we handle data and form part of these Terms.

2. Who we are

  • Name [Company legal name]
  • Address [Registered address]
  • Company registration [Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number]
  • VAT [VAT number]
  • Email [privacy@your-domain]

3. The beta

The Service is currently offered as a beta. During the beta, features may change, be added or be removed, and the Service may be interrupted or contain errors. The beta is free of charge. We will notify you by email before paid plans take effect, and no payment will be taken unless you choose a paid plan.

4. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate information when you create your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • An account is personal and may not be shared or transferred.
  • If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

5. Your content

You keep all rights in the text, files and other material you create, import or store in the Service ("Content"). We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your Content only as necessary to provide, secure and support the Service for you, including sending it to our AI providers when you use an AI feature. This licence ends when your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies kept in backups for the limited period described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

You are solely responsible for your Content. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and use it, that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, and that you have a lawful basis for including any personal data about other people.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important Content. You can export your documents at any time.

6. AI features and their output

The Service uses artificial intelligence to review your documents, suggest changes, draft text and format documents. You acknowledge that:

  • AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or not suited to your purpose, even when it appears confident;
  • you are responsible for reviewing all output and for deciding whether to use it; nothing changes in your document until you apply a suggestion;
  • output is not legal, financial, career, employment or other professional advice, and we do not guarantee any result, including any job application outcome;
  • similar requests may produce different output, and output given to you may resemble output given to others;
  • you must not present AI output as containing facts that are untrue, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of any document you send to others.

As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by law, you may use the output you receive for your own purposes.

7. Anonymisation

The Service offers an option to anonymise text before it is sent to AI. We make every reasonable effort to detect and remove personal details, but automated detection can fail, and we do not guarantee that all personal data will be removed or that a person cannot be identified from the text that is sent. The AI and data notice describes how anonymisation works and its limits. You should review your Content and remove any information you do not want to share before using an AI feature.

8. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  • use the Service in breach of any applicable law or regulation, or to infringe the rights of others;
  • create or distribute content that is fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or that misrepresents your identity, qualifications or experience in order to deceive;
  • upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by placing an unreasonable load on it;
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer or decompile the Service, except as far as the law expressly permits;
  • use the Service or its output to build a competing product or to train an AI model;
  • circumvent usage limits, plan restrictions or security measures;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.

9. Plans, prices and payment

The Service may be offered on a free plan and on paid plans, such as a pass for a fixed period or a monthly subscription. The features, limits and price of each plan are shown in the Service before you buy.

  • Prices are shown in the currency stated. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by [payment provider] under its own terms.
  • A pass is paid once and ends automatically on the date shown. It continues as a monthly subscription only if you chose that option when buying it.
  • A monthly subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price then in force, until you cancel it. We show the next charge date before you pay and in Billing.
  • You can cancel a subscription at any time in Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect for your subscription, and you may cancel before it does.
  • Except as required by law or stated in these Terms, payments are non-refundable.

10. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the contract being concluded, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send us a clear statement (for example by email) before the period ends.

If you expressly ask for the paid features to start during the withdrawal period, and you withdraw, you must pay an amount in proportion to what was provided until you told us you were withdrawing. If the service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period at your express request, with your acknowledgement that you would then lose the right of withdrawal, the right no longer applies.

We will refund any amount due without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and working, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service as a whole, we will give you reasonable notice so that you can export your Content, and we will refund any prepaid amount for the period that is not provided.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, templates and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

13. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, you allow us to use them freely to improve the Service, without any obligation to you. We will not publish your Content or identify you as the source without your permission.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your Profile page. Deletion is permanent: your Content is deleted and cannot be recovered, and any remaining time on a paid plan is not refunded, except as required by law.

We may suspend or close your account if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use poses a risk to the Service or to others. Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to remedy the breach and to export your Content.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete your Content as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections 5, 6, 15, 16, 17 and 19.

15. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. This section does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Subject to the previous paragraph, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, opportunity or data, or for any loss resulting from your reliance on AI output or from personal data in your Content that anonymisation did not remove;
  • our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and EUR 100.

17. Indemnity

If you use the Service for business purposes, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your Content or from your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by us. This section does not apply to consumers.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms, for example to reflect changes to the Service or to the law. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and close your account before the changes take effect; if you have a paid subscription, you may cancel it and we will refund any prepaid amount for the period after the change. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the amended Terms.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [the Netherlands]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of [Amsterdam, the Netherlands], without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings in their country of residence. Please contact us first; most concerns can be resolved quickly.

20. General

  • These Terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the provision will be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its intent.
  • A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor in a reorganisation, merger or sale of our business, provided this does not reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
  • In the event of any inconsistency between a translation and the English version of these Terms, the English version prevails, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
